dESIGN Highlights
Redesigned Map: An animated solar system where planets orbit around a sun, surrounded by asteroids and mines. The map is also covered by Fog of War, players have a limited range of vision shared between teammates.
Planet Affinity System: Trading with a planet increases its affinity towards the player's team. When the game concludes, a team's affinity with all the planets are summed up to calculate its percentage of market occupancy. And the team with a higher occupancy wins.
Player Roles: One player out of each team will take the role of Miner (Jungler) and obtain a pickaxe at the spawn, while other members of the team take the role of Merchants (Laner) and obtain their start-up cash.
Tradable Items & Weapons: Over 20 types of tradable items are currently in the game, including melee or ranged weapons, vision items, buff items and others. Each starting game randomly picks 9 items from the item pool and distributes them into the market, along with the 5 fixed buff items.
Buff System: 5 buff items can be obtained through mining and trading, consuming them gives player buff stacks. Gaining multiple stacks of the same buff levels it up, increasing its effect, including vision range, dealt damage, health, movement speed, and affinity gained from trading.
Game Progression: A game is divided into 3 to 5 stages, and player activities like trading, mining or fighting adds progress to the currrent stage. When a stage ends, a Special Game Event takes place. After the final event, the game enters a 60 second countdown before it ends and calculates the market occupancy.
In-Game Events: Events are mini-games where 2 teams compete over a objective, like escorting payload, capturing points, surviving the circle of flame. Winning an event rewards a team with buffs or money.
Tutorial: An alternative map where players learn to play the game step by step. In development.
Shooting Range: An alternative map for players to practice basic controls and test out builds.
